August 2008 – December 2013: Client Representative for BIRMINGHAM REP, managing their involvement in the £188 million Library of Birmingham Project. The new Library is integrated with the Rep, both as a physical building and also in some organisational aspects, with the work on the Rep (refurbishment of the front-of-house areas and the construction of a new back-of-house block with rehearsal spaces, offices and workshop) costing some £24m.
A new 300 seat Studio Theatre is also part of the complex. The building was handed over in early May 2013 and had a hugely successful opening to the public on 3 September 2013. The building achieved a BREEAM Excellent rating.
